On May 30, 2014, it was very hot but it didn’t stop us from learning from each other. This morning, under the leading of Miss Huang, the leader of English Group, we have learnt a lot in Miss Qiu’s class.
　　First, the topic is about Betty’s holiday in Zhangjiajie in Hunan Province. And this topic has aroused students’ interest, for they will have their holidays in the following three days for Chinese Dragon Boat Festival.
　　Second, at the beginning of the class, Miss Qiu taught students to learn and read the new words, which lay foundation for the students’ following learning. After that, she played a video about Zhangjiajie, which brought us vivid images on this famous place.
　　Third, this lesson was a reading course. So I think, before going on the reading, we can teach students some reading skills, like finding out key words and key sentences, not just focusing on new words learning, because this is a reading course.
　　In a word, we have learnt a lot in this class. And I believe we can do better if we keep on learning for learning.
